Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the HairCut History app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

HairCut History allows users to:

• Store and manage haircut profiles with measurements and preferences
• Upload reference photos for haircuts
• Share haircut information with barbers via QR codes
• Receive and store notes from barbers
• Track haircut history and achievements

User Accounts

Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account with a valid email, password, and display name. You may also sign in using Google, Facebook, or Apple.

Your Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of your credentials
• All activities under your account are your responsibility
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
• Provide accurate information

User Content

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (profiles, photos, notes). By submitting, you grant us a limited license to store and display it within the App.

Content Guidelines

Do NOT submit content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, or offensive
• Infringes intellectual property rights
• Contains malware or harmful code
• Violates another person's privacy
• Is fraudulent or deceptive

QR Code Sharing

When you generate a QR code:

• A temporary share session is created (24-hour expiration)
• Barbers who scan can view your selected profile
• You control what information is shared
• You can revoke access at any time

You are responsible for choosing what to share and with whom.

Barber Mode

If using Barber mode, you agree to:

• Provide accurate shop/salon information
• Only add professional, relevant notes to client profiles
• Respect client privacy
• Use client information only for haircut-related purposes

Intellectual Property

The App (excluding User Content) is owned by HairCut History and protected by copyright and trademark laws.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App for its intended purpose. You may NOT copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works.

Disclaimers

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

We do NOT guarantee any particular haircut results. The App is a communication tool; actual results depend on your barber's skill.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HairCut History shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

By You

You may delete your account at any time in the App settings.

By Us

We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or abuse the App.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
